Crank dat batman was made back in 05 i was in Illinois at the moment and he was in Atlanta. I was in the studio one day playing around making beats and i sent him a couple beats and out of all of them he liked that beat, he said he was going to make a rap to it and surely he did. I loved the verse he put down but in his verse he said (Crank dat batman) i said "What is that" ? He said idk lol. Interview with @BedStuyGab

First, I would like to thank you for taking the time do an interview with us?
No problem! Thank you guys for interviewing me!

What are the positives and negatives of being young in the music business?
The positives is you have everyone who was before you mistake's to learn from. The negatives is that everybody in the game plays you as if you know nothing.

What would you like to tell young upcoming musicians?
That you have to work harder than the rest to go farther than the rest.

How did your song “I’m Gucci” ft Sparkdawg & Yung Texxus come about?
Yung Texxus was out in San Antonio when I first met him. My dj, DJ Nappi introduced me to him then we exchanged numbers. Yung Texxus was in town for a couple days so the next day he came to my studio and we went through beats till one clicked. Texxus came up wit the hook and we did our verses right on the spot. The idea then popped in DJ Nappi's head to get Spark Dawg on the track which worked out perfect cause we all was already cool and I had been meaning to work with him. The rest is history.

Who are some of your influences musically & in your personal life?
My family, my true friends and any fans I have. I do this for them. My music is all real. I only speak my life so everything I live is influential to my music.

What artists are you feeling on the underground?
Man it's a whole bunch but to name a few there is an R&B singer named Xavier that I fucks wit that is a beast, Aj Hernz, Greg G, and even though they not really underground but hasn't gotten the recognition they deserve I gotta say Question and Big Krit. I fucks wit Yung Texxus, Spark Dawg, Tum Tum, B Hardy, O.N.E and the list goe on! I mean I love music and I think it's a lot of it here in Texas.

Are there any artists that you aren’t feeling?
Yeah but I'll keep that to myself. My opinion doesn't matter to them anyway so why waste my time. I just don't listen to they're music. Simple as that.

What artists can we catch Gab listening to?
I listen to everything musically but my main dude is Jay-Z. Since day 1. I also listen to Eminem, Jadakiss, Fabolous, Outkast, T.I., Jeezy, UGK, 8 Ball & MJG, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Fat Joe, Cassidy, Drake all the way to Jay Electronica!

What movies and television shows could we catch Gab watching?
Wow. Movies? Everything from Shawshank Redemption to 300 and from Coming To America to Carlito's Way. I'm diverse and a big movie buff. TV I watch Sportscenter most of the time. Other than that mostly CSI: Miami, Law & Order and Criminal Minds.

What sports do you follow? Favorite teams?
All sports! My favorite teams are all New York teams. I ride wit the home teams! No bandwaggon's here.

Who are some of your influences?
Jay-Z, Fabolous, Jadakiss, Jamie Foxx, and most important my father.

Is there an official mix tape in the works?
Yessir! I just finished my 5th mixtape of 2010. Dirty South Armageddon 15 with Dj Stevie Dee out of Dallas, Tx. It should be out soon.

Are there plans to release an album? Do you have a title in mind for it?
Yeah my album The Bedstuy Hulk with my dj DJ Nappi and DJ Hella Yella will be out before the end of this year.

Any shout outs or quick fuck yous?
Shout out to the man upstairs and my team Dj Nappi, Xavier, Nicci and my manager Ms. "SheDiddy" Stephanie. Fuck you's to all who thought I wasn't gonna amount to nothing and to those who so ignorantly still think so. My success is my revenge.

In addition to running The New Hip Hop HeadQuarters i also assist an artist out of Oklahoma by the name of Yung O. So be on the look out for various projects involving him as well. Lets see what the future of hip hop has in store for us!
