Exclusive: Maybach Music ft @YungTexxus254 (Unreleased)

"On The Grind" (Official Music Video) by Throwed of @PowerBrokerEnt

Interview with @YungTexxus254

NewHHHQ: First off i would like to thank you for doing the interview. Let everybody know where you represent?
YT: Wuttup world, I go by Yung Texxus a.k.a. Mista Green, also known as The Under
Ground Prince, Hailing from Killeen, T.X.

NewHHHQ: Discuss what the music scene is like in the area
YT: Constantly growing and evolving, there are new artist emerging every day.

NewHHHQ: If there was one song of yours that you could only play for the world to hear. what would it be?
YT: It would have to be my new single about to drop "I'm Comin' Down" Featuring a special Guest, I can't name just yet! It's off my latest project Dead Presidentz-n-Caddies a collaborative effort with my long time producer and fellow MC Tek Neek. He produced tracks for me like "Trill Thangz" & "The Dope Game" with Scarface and J. Scott.

NewHHHQ: Shed some light on Green City. The album, the group, and the controversy over the single Party Like A Rockstar with Mannie Fresh
YT: Well first off Green City is my family, we all grew up in Killeen and have known each other since elementary and middle school. So, before we were a rap group we were homies, and still are. As far as the album, I don't want to put the blame on any one in particular. In a group or "team" setting you have to have a defined leader and a game plan. We had neither, and as a team, the artists, execs, and labels didn't get the job done. The ball was dropped. As far as the single "Like a Pornstar" the only reason we even had the song was because producer Da Champ had sampled Lil John's voice on the track saying the line "Party Like Rock Star, Bang em Like a Porn Star..." Mind you, we hadn't heard the version by those other guys. So, were in the studio with Scarface writing the record and in walks Mannie Fresh. I guess he was recording in the suite across from us. So, to make a long story short Face gets Mannie to put the hook on the record over lil John's vocals, and that's how we got the record. About, 4 days later we starting hearing about another song with a similar hook. By that time the album process was already in full swing, the label [SMC] had it and was going with it...

NewHHHQ: Who are some artists in the area that would like to collaborate with
YT: T.I., Too Short, Slim Thugg, & Chamillionaire,.

NewHHHQ: What are some collaborations that are your favorite?
YT: Buss it Open ft. Yung Joc, Dope Game Remix ft. Trae The Truth & Hezeleo, The Blue Dream ft. Thee Tom Hardy

NewHHHQ: Alright how did the track Smoke Somethin' featuring Sparkdawg come about.
YT: Well I got the track from a producer I have been working with for a while named Dan Delaney, shout out Australia...that's where the homie is from. But, I had the track..the hook kinda just came to me, I hit my cousin Spark and it was a done deal.

NewHHHQ: Now you and Sparkdawg have done a lot of records have yall thought about dropping a collab album
YT: Yea that is something that has came up a few times. We have dropped a few mixtapes together Southern Comfort 2 with DJ Blurray & Industry Cosign with DJ Scream.

NewHHHQ: Shed some light on the Donald Trumpin collaboration with Big Krit
YT: The collab came about through a Dj I have a relationship with named DJ Stupac. I believe he purchased the track from Krit and he wanted me to drop the verses. I hadn't even heard of Krit at the time, it was before he started to bubble tough. But, once I heard the record it was dope. I wasn't really feeling the whole "Donald Trumpin" theme and the "Rich Nigga Shit" tho. I was really struggling through that time after I head beat my Gun cases. But, I went ahead and did the record. Came out to be a good look.

NewHHHQ: Do you have any collaborations in the works that you would like to shed some light on
YT: I have alot of new collabs and records on the way. All, I can say now is stay tuned!

NewHHHQ: Who are some producers that you are working with? Any that you want to work with?
YT: Right now I'm exclusively working with Tek Neek as far as production. We are working on forging our own sound. However, if some one were to send something extremely dope and mind blowing I'd hop on it.

NewHHHQ: How to producers get beats to you? How do artists go about getting a feature from you
YT: Best way to get me beats is mistagreenmp3@gmail.com For Booking$ and Feature$ hit:
http://statecitymusic.com/booking/

NewHHHQ: How can djs inquire about mixtape hosting or drops?
YT :Hit up TeamTexxus@gmail.com

NewHHHQ: Whats your favorite movie? Favorite tv show?
YT: I'm a Movie Head, I can't have just one favorite. If I have to say one right now Godfather II as far as T.V. I'm really stuck on Board Walk Empire right now.

NewHHHQ: Favorite food? Favorite drink?
